Day 34: Hebrews 2-10 Opening Reflection

Now in subjecting all things to them, God left nothing outside their control.  As it is, we do not yet see everything in subjection to them, but we do see Jesus, who for a little was made lower than the angels, now crowned with Glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. Because he himself was tested by what he suffered he is able to help those who are being tested. Consequently Jesus is able for all time to save those who approach God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them. For you need endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what was promised.  For yet “in a very little while, the one who is coming will come and will not delay; but my righteous one will live by faith.  My soul takes no pleasure in anyone who shrinks back.”  But we are not among those who shrink back and so are lost, but among those who have faith and are so saved.

These four verses of Hebrews speak for themselves – Jesus has taken our place in everything and therefore leaving us no excuse to approach anything with a cowardice attitude allowing us to approach everything with faith
